The opening ceremony of a new workshop for the production of medicinal herbs and herbal infusions took place in the village of At-Bashy, Naryn region.

The opening ceremony was attended by the plenipotentiary representative of the Naryn region Amanbai Kaiypov, the akim of the At-Bashi region Zhakypbek Subagozhoev, the president of the Dordoi association Askar Salymbekov, the vice-president of the chamber of commerce and industry Rima Apasova.

The new workshop was opened on the initiative of former biologist Damira Kampabekova, who is the current director of this workshop for the production of medicines from medicinal herbs at Dordoi Dary CJSC. Modern equipment was purchased for 20 million soms.

The new workshop will produce 29 types of medicines from medicinal herbs. The company has international certification and in the near future plans to sell its products for export.

According to D. Kampabekova, the medicinal herb “Altyn Tamyr”, which grows at the top of three, four thousand meters above sea level in the Naryn mountains, is in no way inferior in its medicinal properties to the Chinese “Ginseng”. During the summer season, 60 people will be provided with jobs in this workshop, and 15 people will work in the winter.

Packaging on medicines will be made entirely of paper, and all products produced in the workshop will be organically pure. On the packages, the rules for use will be written in three languages: Kyrgyz, Russian and English.
